Senior Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of components, assemblies, and complete machines for plastic processing applications.
• Create 3D models, detailed engineering drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks.
• Improve existing designs for performance, cost efficiency, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with the production, R&D, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and smooth execution.
• Conduct design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, testing, and commissioning.
• Review and validate designs created by junior team members.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and company design guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum

  5 years of experience

  in machinery design (preferably plastic processing machines).

• Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks

  (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication processes, and machine components.
• Good understanding of GD&T, engineering standards, and material selection.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
