Job Description

Own the end to end architecture and delivery of the Agentic Foundation Layer and flagship agents for SAKS, on Saks AWS estate. Act as overall technical authority across platform, data, security and agent design.
Define the target Agentic Platform architecture (registry, orchestrator, RAG, guardrails, evals, HITL) on AWS.
Lead design of Agent 1 (order intake discrepancy handling brand comms barcode) and Agent 2 (RFS + PO creation) including orchestration patterns.
Make key choices on Strands Agents framework, Amazon Bedrock models (Claude), vector DB, observability, and security.
Review all high risk designs data contracts with Snowflake/MIC/RFS/POWB/GXS, error handling, fall back paths.
Provide technical leadership to PwC + SAKS teams; run architecture reviews and steer integration with existing SAKS platforms.

Mandatory Skill Sets

Deep experience designing production LLM / agentic systems on a major cloud (ideally AWS VPC, IAM, EC2/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch).
Strong grasp of agent frameworks (Strands/Bedrock Agents/LangGraph like), orchestration, tool calling and multi agent patterns.

Preferred Skill Sets

Hands on background with RAG, vector databases, prompt design, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks.
Proven ability to lead multi team delivery and engage senior business/IT stakeholders.

Education qualification

Bachelor s degree in Engineering (B.E. Hons) or related field. Masters degree
