About the role
The Sourcing Desk Manager will lead a team of sourcing specialists to deliver best-in-class procurement support across IT, Real Estate, Facilities Management (FM) Operations, and Marketing. Acting as a central sourcing hub, this role partners with global category teams and regional stakeholders to ensure compliance, cost optimisation, and strategic alignment with organisational objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and mentor a team of sourcing specialists, fostering a high-performance culture
Allocate resources effectively to support multiple business functions and priorities
Drive capability development and continuous improvement within the sourcing desk
Sourcing Desk Operations
Oversee execution of sourcing activities across IT, Real Estate, FM Operations, and Marketing
Ensure adherence to global sourcing policies, governance frameworks, and compliance standards
Act as the primary liaison between regional stakeholders and global category teams
Strategic Collaboration
Partner with global category managers to align local sourcing initiatives with global strategies
Support category planning and provide market intelligence to inform decision-making
Facilitate stakeholder engagement to ensure sourcing solutions meet business needs
Process Excellence & Transformation
Champion process optimisation and digital enablement within the sourcing desk
Implement best practices in sourcing, supplier management, and contract governance
Drive adoption of procurement tools and analytics for enhanced visibility and efficiency
Performance & Reporting
Monitor sourcing KPIs, savings delivery, and compliance metrics
Provide regular reporting to leadership on desk performance and value creation
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and risk mitigation across supported categories
Job Requirements
14+ Years of Experience in Procurement & Sourcing
7+ Years People leadership experience
Team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration
Strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contract management
Analytical and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI)
Excellent communication and influencing skills
