Senior Manager Risk Management Insurance - Financial Services

As a Manager at EY, you will play a crucial role in the Non-Financial Risk and Insurances sector within the financial services industry. Your responsibilities will include: - Implementing new or updated regulatory requirements by conducting gap assessments, creating roadmaps, and translating regulatory requirements into business and controls requirements - Leading campaigns to identify and assess (compliance) risks, proposing risk responses and monitoring approaches, and reporting results to senior management - Improving the design of internal controls and overseeing their implementation, aligning with international standards and regulatory expectations - Organizing workshops with clients to identify pain points, analyze data, and suggest compliance remediations - Reviewing the organization and governance of oversight functions within financial institutions to meet market practices and regulatory expectations - Conducting Board effectiveness reviews - Promoting a risk and compliance culture within the organization through workshops, awareness campaigns, and trainings - Supporting the internal audit practice as a Subject Matter Expert on regulatory and compliance topics To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes: - A Masters degree in a relevant field - Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Consulting role - Expertise in Non-Financial Risk and Compliance within Insurances - Strong team and people management skills - Commercial mindset or experience with Business development - Curiosity and affinity with laws and regulations - Flexible mindset, with a creative approach and ability to think out-of-the-box - Process-minded, organized, with an eye for detail and excellent analytical skills - Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills - Fluency in French and/or Dutch and proficient level of business English - Detail oriented, problem-solving skills, client-focused, with a pragmatic approach - Ability to summarize and prioritize information for management reporting - Strong team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy Working at EY offers you the opportunity to be part of a leading global professional services firm, work in a dynamic and growing team, and receive extensive training on technical matters and soft skills.
