Job Description

As a Senior Manager, Quality, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery and high quality of Insurity s commercial insurance software solutions. You will be responsible for defining and executing the test strategy for core products and regulatory services, while fostering a culture that emphasizes strategic thinking, guiding principles, and core values.

In this role, you will manage resource allocation, budgeting, test planning, and design the learning roadmap for the QA team. A strong commitment to developing both technical and leadership expertise is essential, with a focus on leveraging industry best practices to enhance quality and team productivity.

Additionally, you will collaborate in process review and Test automation to strengthen testing strategies and drive continuous improvement across the QA process.

What Our Senior Manager, Quality Will Do

Lead, coach, and mentor a highly performing, engaged team, which may include managers and multiple disciplines.
Interview, hire, onboard, and retain exceptional talent.
Help establish departmental goals and strategies.
Adopt and reinforce company policies, processes, and programs.
Lead team members using the company s performance management and development process
Support and enhance a culture that emphasizes strategy, guiding principles and core values
Communicate effectively and regularly with team members, peers, and leadership.
Manage financial responsibilities and activities
Develop and maintain trusted customer relationships
Effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders
Drive utilization across team and contribute to workforce planning
Communicate financial and goal results, and KPIs to direct reports
Working across functions with peers in other groups to ensure collaboration for shared goals
Build relationships with contractor partnerships and manage contractor resources, if applicable

Who We re Looking For

8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with proven leadership experience.
Leadership Acumen

Ability to manage conflict and build strong relationships.
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Assertiveness, directness, and a company first mentality
Hands-on experience with the ability to contribute individually when needed.
Skilled at simplifying complex issues for clear communication.

Business Acumen

Expertise in motivating, coaching, and developing team members.
Strong understanding of domain interdependencies.
Proficiency in budgeting, project structuring, partner management, and staffing.
Strong presentation and communication skills across all organizational levels.

Core Skills

Analytical and critical thinking
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Self-starter, quick learner, and detail oriented.

Good knowledge of insurance domain, including U.S. insurance products and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency with project management tools and workflows.
Certifications such as AINS (Insurance) and PMP (Project Management) are a plus.
