Job Description

As a Senior Manager - Production (OSD) at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, your responsibilities will include: - Planning production and packing activities to meet monthly targets - Reviewing daily production activities for various processes like Granulation, Compression, Coating, Capsule filling, Inspection, Packing, and Nutra section - Ensuring Good Documentation Practices (GDP) are followed at the shop floor and packing area - Coordinating with various departments like IPQA, QC, Engineering, PPC, SCM, EHS, and FDD/MSTG for smooth functioning of production and packing activities - Handling SAP related work in production and ensuring online documentation as per cGMP practice - Implementing best practices on the shop floor to comply with cGMP and safety guidelines - Reviewing SOPs, user requirement specifications (URS), purchase requisitions (PR), investigations, process validation protocols/reports, equipment qualification protocols/reports, and other QMS documents - Handling QMS activities in Trackwise/EDMS to review and approve documents - Ensuring timely and smooth execution of commercial validation batches - Properly allocating and utilizing manpower in the production/packing department - Providing on-time training to officers and workers on cGMP, SOPs, GDP, and EHS - Participating in commercial product troubleshooting to ensure timely delivery to the market - Reviewing technical protocols and reports related to investigational/verification batches of approved products - Ensuring products are produced and stored according to appropriate documentation - Implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as needed for compliance - Checking maintenance of department, premises, and equipment - Reviewing and implementing master documents required for smooth production - Preparing and reviewing prerequisite documents for execution of validation batches - Enhancing capacity utilization, efficiency, and productivity in the production and packing area - Driving business excellence initiatives like Kaizen, Six Sigma, and 5S - Improving production and packing processes for reduced time, utility consumption, and higher quality - Reporting any deviations or abnormalities to seniors - Performing any other assigned tasks by the operation head/management As for the educational qualifications, you should have a B.Pharm/M.Pharm degree and possess 18 to 20 years of experience in the field.,
