Senior Manager - Production

Position Overview:

The Senior Manager Production will be responsible for leading and managing the Paint Shop and TRT Line operations, ensuring smooth execution of production activities, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery as per customer requirements. The role requires strong expertise in aerospace painting and treatment processes, leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams, and a continuous improvement mindset to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Paint Shop and TRT Line activities with accountability for equipment, manpower, and resources.
  
• Ensure smooth production operations in line with customer demand and production schedules (daily/monthly).
  
• Achieve production targets and On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) delivery.
  
• Minimize rework and defects by controlling and reducing DPPM in painted and TRT parts.
  
• Drive production capacity expansion through productivity improvements and optimization initiatives.
  
• Ensure strict compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards on the shop floor.
  
• Manage operational costs within the approved budget.
  
• Apply strong knowledge of aerospace painting and treatment processes (Spray Painting, Anodizing TSA, BSA, SAA, CAA).
  
• Act as auditee for ISO 9001, EOHS, AS9100 audits and support compliance with NADCAP requirements.
  
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for process and quality issues.
  
• Ensure customer compliance and uphold highest quality standards.
  
• Prepare, monitor, and present departmental KPIs and performance metrics in weekly/monthly reviews with top management.
  
• Foster effective communication and coordination with inter-departmental teams for seamless operations.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
  
• 14+ years of experience in production management with at least 5 years in aerospace painting/treatment operations.
  
• Hands-on experience in spray painting applications and anodizing processes (TSA, BSA, SAA, CAA).
  
• Proven track record in managing OTIF, productivity improvements, and cost control.
  
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, EOHS, AS9100 standards with exposure to NADCAP.
  
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
