Senior Manager - Patient Data Management

As a Patient Data Management Senior Manager at Amgen, your role involves building and growing the Patient Data Management team and capabilities in the Innovation Center in India. You will collaborate with cross-functional data and analytics leads to manage Amgen's patient data assets, ensuring compliance with privacy and security protocols. Your responsibilities include data curation, patient data connectivity, driving productivity through automation, and developing guidelines for data access and usage. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with cross-functional data & analytics leads to define use cases and deliver high-quality data for longitudinal patient journey analytics - Deliver end-to-end data curation, aggregation, processing, integration, and secure access for patient data assets - Implement patient data connectivity across first-party and third-party data assets for longitudinal analytics - Drive productivity and improve cycle times through data processing automations - Manage data requirements for patient data contracting with Specialty Pharmacies and Sites of Care organizations - Develop guidelines and SOPs for appropriate access and usage of Patient Data - Drive standardization of data deliverables, source data layouts, reference data, and reporting solutions - Manage and oversee outsourced data aggregation vendor partners In terms of **Basic Qualifications and Experience**, you should have: - A Masters degree with 8 to 10 years of data management experience or a Bachelors degree with 10 to 14 years of relevant data management experience - Proven experience in team building and talent retention in India - Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills - Comfort working in global teams and across different time zones and cultures **Functional Skills:** **Must-Have Skills:** - Experience in Data Management, Analytics, Sales and/or Marketing Operations, Value & Access - Expertise with relevant data, analytics, and technology solutions - Direct experience in analyzing large data sets and translating data into insights - Strong project management skills and experience in partnering with global stakeholders **Good-to-Have Skills:** - Strong expertise in working with patient level datasets - Ability to effectively translate business stakeholder requirements to IT partners - Prioritization and delivery of data through agile execution - Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and vendor management skills **Soft Skills:** - Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills - Strong data & analytics/critical-thinking and decision-making abilities - Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, changing environment - Strong oral, written, and presentation skills At Amgen, you will play a crucial role in managing patient data assets to drive patient journey analytics and enhance patient experiences.
