✅ Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our Orthopedic Medical Devices vertical. This role combines sales development with operational control. You will guide branch teams, manage surgeon relationships, ensure inventory discipline, and uphold company SOPs for surgery support, scrub tech deployment, and credit management.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Sales & Market Development

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with orthopedic surgeons, hospitals, and nursing homes.

• Drive growth in implant usage across joint replacement and arthroscopy segments.

• Identify new hospital and surgeon accounts and onboard them as regular customers.

🔹 Operations & Case Execution

• Ensure accurate forecasting, procurement, and efficient rotation of high-value implant inventory.

• Oversee planning and execution of surgeries: timely movement of sets, full size ranges maintained.

• Manage and deploy scrub technicians and implant openers per SOP for every surgery.

• Maintain strict instrument handling, sterilization, and post-case documentation.

🔹 Team Management

• Lead branch supervisors and scrub tech teams across cities.

• Train and mentor teams on SOP adherence, escalation protocols, and discipline in execution.

• Ensure accountability for both sales performance and operational controls.

🔹 Credit & Working Capital Discipline

• Monitor credit limits and outstanding payments from hospitals.

• Coordinate with accounts teams to ensure collections discipline.

• Escalate overdue payments as per company policy.

🔹 Stakeholder Reporting

• Provide regular MIS reports to management on sales, inventory, collections, and team performance.

• Implement process improvements to control working capital and ensure profitable operations.

✅ Key Requirements:

• Experience: 7–15 years in Orthopedic Implants, Medical Devices, or Pharmaceutical distribution; exposure to both Sales and Operations is a strong plus.

• Background: Open to candidates with experience in related medical device segments (e.g., trauma, spine, ophthalmology) or pharma who have handled branch operations.

• Skills:

• Ability to build and maintain surgeon and hospital relationships.

• Proven record of managing inventory-intensive operations.

• Hands-on team leadership and branch supervision.

• Understanding of working capital cycles and credit control.

• Education: Graduate degree; MBA or healthcare management is a plus.

• Travel: Occasional travel to branches and HO as required.

• Mindset: Strong ownership, process discipline, open to change, ready to work per SOPs.
