Senior Manager / Manager (Purchase) - off Delhi Singhu Border, Kundli

Role & responsibilities

* Position is responsible for Plastic moulded /Plastic designed auto accessories , FMCG Products and Printing Raw material.

*Develop and implement purchasing strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.

* Lead and manage the purchasing team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

* Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.

* Oversee the procurement of materials, components, and services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

* Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and other contractual agreements with suppliers.

* Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

* Manage the purchasing budget and track spending against targets.

* Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, production, and quality, to ensure alignment on requirements and specifications.

* Resolve supplier issues and disputes in a timely and effective manner.

* Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.

* Manage and mitigate supply chain risks.

* Implement and maintain purchasing systems and processes.

Preferred candidate profile

* Professional Qualifications in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

* 12-16 years of progressive experience in purchasing, with a focus on the automotive industry.

* Strong knowledge of automotive components, manufacturing processes, and supply chain management.

* Proven ability to develop and implement purchasing strategies and negotiate contracts.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.

* Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).

* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
