Job Description · The candidate must have strong business acumen, outstanding communication skills, strategic planning skills and knowledge of an organization's internal operations and technology initiatives. · Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance. · Managing IT Infra and AV staff. · Developing IT policies, procedures, and best practices related to hardware. · Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations impacting IT, especially in areas such as data privacy and security. · Approve purchases of technological equipment and software and establish partnerships with IT providers. · Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve stakeholder’s experience. · Overseeing relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers. · Developing and overseeing the IT budget. · Participate in contract negotiation and agreements with vendors . · Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the university's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage systems. · Provide support services to end-users, including students, faculty, and staff. · Implement and maintain helpdesk services for prompt issue resolution. · Generate reports and insights to support decision-making processes.
