Role Overview

Senior Manager HR

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Strategy

• Oversee end-to-end HR functions at the plant, aligned with corporate HR strategy.
• Implement HR policies, SOPs, and best practices for smooth operations.
• Drive manpower planning and ensure timely hiring for plant requirements.
  

2. Industrial Relations, Compliance & Contract Labour

• Maintain strong relations with union and labor representatives.
• Handle disciplinary matters, grievance redressal, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure 100% compliance with

  labor laws, the Factory Act, and statutory requirements

  (PF, ESIC, etc.).
• Oversee

  contract labour management

  including compliance, contractor coordination, and adherence to CLRA guidelines.
• Liaise with government authorities and external agencies for statutory audits and inspections.
  

3. Employee Engagement & Culture

• Build a positive work culture that promotes productivity, safety, and employee well-being.
• Organize employee engagement, welfare, and recognition initiatives.
• Act as a mentor and trusted advisor for employees at all levels.
  

4. HR Analytics & Reporting

• Monitor HR metrics (attrition, productivity, absenteeism, cost per hire, etc.).
• Provide regular reports and insights to management for decision-making.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent.
• 12 To 15 years of HR experience, with at least 8 To 10 years in Plant HR / IR role in FMCG/food manufacturing.
  
• Strong knowledge of

  labor laws, Factory Act, statutory compliance ,Contract Labour Management, and industrial relations.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  
• Ability to manage large teams and a diverse workforce.
