Configure and deploy network devices such as routers and switches Perform advanced troubleshooting of network issues, analyzing packet captures, logs, and network monitoring data to identify root causes and implement solutions. Provide 3rd-level support for escalated network incidents and outages, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders. Monitor network performance, proactively identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, latency issues, and security vulnerabilities. Collaborate with the network architecture team to contribute to the design and planning of network solutions, ensuring scalability and future growth. Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls. Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures accurately for knowledge sharing and future reference. Participate in change management processes, planning and executing network changes while minimizing impact on operations. Assist in capacity planning and network expansion projects to accommodate growing traffic and new services. Mentor and provide guidance to Level 1 to Level 3 Network Engineers, fostering their professional development and knowledge. Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and industry best practices, integrating relevant advancements into the network environment. Collaborate with vendors for equipment procurement, support, and troubleshooting as needed. Contribute to the development and maintenance of network-related policies, procedures, and documentation. Good To Have Experience with Public Cloud networking (any of the following will do - AWS, Azure, GCP, Aviatrix) Experience with SASE and SSE (any of the following is fine - Netskope, Cloudflare, Zscaler, Prisma) Experience with Load Balancers (F5, Citrix, AWS, Azure) Any certification with the following: Cisco CCNP certifications Palo Alto certifications AWS, Azure, or Google cloud CompTIA certifications Requirements 5 years plus experience with IT infrastructure operations and/or engineering 5 years plus experience with IT network operations and/or engineering Show more Show less
