Job Description

Sr. Manager, Cargo Product Development

Location:

International Airline experience preferred with Cargo Products knowledge & BD/RM understanding as well.

Job Purpose

• To assist in the development and rollout of new and specialized product categories that align with company Cargos long term strategic goals.

• To support the innovation and enhancement of company's cargo services by integrating market research, product design, and operational efficiency

Key Accountabilities

Product Development Support

• Contribute to the design, development and marketing of specialized cargo offerings such as perishables, pharmaceuticals, and express delivery services

• Ensure product concepts are aligned with customer needs, market demand, and company Cargos strategic objectives.

Operational Implementation

• Assist in managing and overseeing of product rollout activities, ensuring seamless operational integration across the cargo network.

• Coordinate with operations teams to establish efficient handling processes for specialized cargo categories.

Market Analysis

• Conduct competitor analysis and industry benchmarking to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and best practices for new products.

• Provide insights that inform product positioning, differentiation, and continuous innovation.

• Work closely with internal teams, including Key Account Management (KAM) and Operations, to tailor products to key accounts and ensure seamless service delivery.

Performance Monitoring

• Help establish KPIs and develop systems to track the performance of new products, contributing to continuous improvement and alignment with business goals.

• Assist in defining KPIs and develop systems to track the performance of new products.

• Analyse results and recommend improvements to ensure products remain competitive, profitable, and aligned with business goals.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with internal teams, including Key Account Management (KAM) and Operations, to tailor product solutions to key accounts and ensure seamless service delivery.
