They should demonstrate a strong understanding of Business Development practices in international markets such as the USA, Europe, and other countries. While a PhD or MSc in Chemistry/Life Sciences along with an MBA is preferred, it is not mandatory. The key responsibilities of the role include generating new business leads globally, formulating effective business strategies for different markets, sectors, and segments, and being prepared to travel overseas for business purposes.
