Job Description

As an experienced professional in the bullion trading industry, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Designing front-office and back-office architecture for the comprehensive establishment of the bullion desk. - Developing the risk management framework and control mechanisms. - Formulating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for trading, clearing, logistics, inventory management, and regulatory compliance. - Coordinating IT system integration and infrastructure readiness. - Ensuring preparedness for regulatory and audit requirements. - Actively managing bullion trading and operations by executing trades, managing pricing and inventory, ensuring compliance with regulations, overseeing logistics and vaulting, and generating MIS reports for governance and strategic reporting. - Development of Bullion Business. - Any other work assigned from time to time. In addition to the key responsibilities, you are expected to have the following job-specific skills and domain knowledge: - Comprehensive understanding of the precious metals dealing ecosystem, including market platforms, clearing & settlement systems, pricing strategies, procurement processes, inventory management & hedging mechanisms, logistics vaulting operations & delivery mechanisms, regulatory compliance frameworks & trade documentation requirements, accounting principles relevant to bullion transactions, MIS generation & regulatory reporting, margin requirements & risk management practices, reconciliation of trades & inventory positions, coordination with clearing corporations, refinerie vaults, logistics service providers, & banking partners, preparation and maintenance documentation related to customs, GST, and cross-border transactions, management of internal audits and regulatory inspections, and adherence to customer due diligence (CD), enhanced customer due diligence (ECDD), know your customer (KYC), anti-money laundering (AML), and combating the financing of terrorism (CFT) compliance.,
