Job Description

As a candidate for the role of Bullion Desk Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and managing the bullion desk operations effectively. Your main duties will include: - Designing the front-office and back-office architecture of the bullion desk - Developing the risk management framework and control mechanisms - Formulating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for trading, clearing, logistics, inventory management, and regulatory compliance - Coordinating IT system integration and infrastructure readiness - Ensuring preparedness for regulatory and audit requirements You will also be in charge of actively managing bullion trading and operations by: - Executing trades - Managing pricing and inventory - Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations - Overseeing logistics and vaulting - Generating MIS reports and contributing to governance and strategic reporting Additionally, you will be responsible for the development of the bullion business and may be assigned other tasks as needed. Job Specific Skills / Domain Knowledge required for this role include: - Comprehensive understanding of the precious metals dealing ecosystem - Knowledge of market platforms, clearing & settlement systems, pricing strategies, and procurement processes - Familiarity with inventory management, logistics vaulting operations, and delivery mechanisms - Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks, trad documentation requirements, and accounting principles relevant to bullion transactions - Proficiency in MIS generation, regulatory reporting, margin requirements, and risk management practices - Ability to reconcile trades and inventory positions - Experience in coordinating with clearing corporations, refinerie vaults, logistics service providers, and banking partners - Skills in preparation and maintenance of documentation related to customs, GST, and cross-border transactions - Knowledge of managing internal audits, regulatory inspections, and customer due diligence processes Your expertise in these areas will be crucial for success in this role.,
