Senior Manager - Accounts Payables

Role Overview: At ISB, Finance holds a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial aspects of the institute, including handling legal matters and ensuring statutory compliances are met. Key Responsibilities: - Manage processing of travel and local conveyance claims submitted by employees, including tracking, settlement, and reconciliation of employee advances and corporate credit card usage. Ensure policy compliance and follow up on outstanding advances and claims. - Oversee fixed assets accounting, including capitalization, tagging, disposal, and maintenance of the fixed asset register. Manage monthly depreciation run and adjustments, coordinate physical verification of assets, monitor ongoing projects, and track capital expenditures against budgets. - Manage monthly accrual entries, ensure accurate reversals, perform GL reviews, provide supporting schedules for audits and monthly closing, review expenses, and provide variance analysis. Also, prepare MIS reports. - Implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and ensure control effectiveness. Prepare for internal, statutory, and tax audits by providing necessary reconciliations, schedules, and documentation. - Maintain compliance with regulations such as GST, TDS, and MSME. Conduct periodical vendor reconciliations and obtain balance confirmations. Qualification Required: - Chartered Accountant/MBA Finance - Desirable Experience: 8 to 10 years Additional Company Details: The job will require interaction with Statutory Auditors, responding to queries, providing necessary details, and offering guidance and support to the team on SAP-related issues.
