Job Description

  • Responsibilities Senior Manager Accounting
  • This role will be part of Enterprise Financial Services (EFS)
  • This role will lead the shared services functions (Account payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Reconciliation, Expenses Allocation, Business Support teams, Tax and Sox Compliance)
  • The role will be integral part of Enterprise Finance team and will entail managing a large team with several people managers reporting into this role
  • This role will partner extensively with onshore stakeholders, BU Finance team, and PGS stakeholders
  • Essential deliverables: the section helps understand the job ownership and accountability- Manage delivery and ensure seamless, timely & accurate services per agreed service level agreements
  • Ensure adequate remediation , root cause analysis in case of service level miss, with a proactive mindset to prevent from recurrence in the future Coach and mentor teams to ensure achievement of key result areas and high-level initiatives for the function
  • Drive talent development initiatives to ensure employee engagement & employee development which results in reduced attrition and developing staff capabilities Focus and deliver various initiatives leading to execution of Enterprise initiatives and cost optimization strategies
  • Partner with stakeholders, understand their requirements and deliver solutions and projects per their expectations Lead projects at Enterprise Financial services Level and bring EFS strategy into action
  • Actively provide feedback to influence and improve functional strategy
  • Direct and supervise continuous improvement projects to automate and streamline processes and improve team capacity and productivity Work with Risk management team to strengthen the first line of defense Actively consult stakeholders on industry/GCC best practices and improve shared services function Work proactively and create a roadmap to transform shared services into Center of Excellence (CoE) Model with end to end ownership and accountability Leadership at Principal As a leader at Principal, you are responsible for driving our strategy, meeting evolving customer needs, and creating an inclusive culture
