Senior Manager - Accounting

As a hands-on leader reporting to the Controllership SSC Director within the worldwide Controller Organization, you will be responsible for managing a cluster of accounting processes and leading a team of professionals in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Your role will involve implementing process improvements, ensuring SOX compliance, and supporting various financial reporting processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the month-end close of accounting processes including commission, compensation, lease, fixed assets, prepaid, Interco, accruals accounting, and cash by validating accruals, reviewing account reconciliations, journal entries, reserve models, and conducting fluctuation analyses - Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards and SOX controls - Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to support audits by providing necessary schedules, evidence, and process overviews - Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to automate revenue accounting processes - Manage a team to accomplish tasks accurately and within specified deadlines - Prepare schedules to support monthly reviews, quarterly audits, and financial reporting processes - Partner with other Finance functions to ensure alignment and support special projects for process improvements - Drive the Shared Service Center initiative including process standardization, synergies, and business continuity planning - Collaborate with regional stakeholders to manage global processes effectively - Monitor compliance with Corporate Accounting instructions and financial policies - Quickly understand new processes and work independently with process owners to complete tasks on time - Drive special projects through to completion **Qualifications Required:** - 15+ years of professional experience in accounting operations/Shared Service Centre in a multinational dynamic environment with a focus on delivering results - Strong understanding of SOX Compliance requirements and US GAAP standards - Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Oracle, Workday Financials, Blackline, eGRC360, Tableau, Hyperion, Microsoft Excel, Slack, etc. - Passion for process improvement and automation - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to engage with peers, team members, and stakeholders - Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment - Leadership skills, including emotional intelligence, and the ability to manage diverse personalities towards a common goal,
