Legal Acumen - Strong understanding of corporate, contractual, and

employment laws

Drafting & Vetting - Proficiency in drafting contracts, agreements, and policy documents

Compliance Awareness- Knowledge of local/state/central and sectoral regulations

Secretarial Practice - Familiarity with statutory record-keeping and ROC filings

Communication Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders

Documentation - Strong command over MS Word, Excel, legal correspondence

Responsibilities

Legal Advisory - Provide expert legal advice on corporate, contractual, and regulatory matters

- Draft, review, and vet contracts, policies, NDAs, MoUs, and internal memos

- Conduct legal risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies

- Monitor updates in legal frameworks and suggest business-aligned changes Compliance & Governance - Ensure companys adherence to applicable laws and internal compliance policies

- Support HR/legal documentation for onboarding, disciplinary, and termination cases

- Drive regulatory and statutory compliance, including labor and IT laws

Company Secretarial - Maintain statutory registers and secretarial

records

- Ensure timely filing with regulatory bodies (e.g., MCA/ROC)

- Coordinate shareholder communications, annual filings, and audit compliance
