Job Description

Job Summary: We're seeking an experienced Networking Engineer to design, implement, and manage our network infrastructure. The successful candidate will have expertise in Ruckus and Cisco Meraki networking solutions, as well as programming skills in Python and/or Node.js. You'll work closely with our team to ensure our network is secure, scalable, and meets the needs of our organization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Network Design and Implementation: - Design and implement network infrastructure using Ruckus and Cisco Meraki solutions. - Configure and troubleshoot LAN and WAN networks. 2. Network Management: - Manage and monitor network performance, security, and availability. - Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions. 3. Scripting and Automation: - Develop scripts using Python and/or Node.js to automate network tasks and improve efficiency. - Integrate scripts with network management systems. 4. Collaboration and Communication: - Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure network meets organizational needs. - Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Required Skills: 1. Networking: - Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). - Experience with Ruckus and Cisco Meraki networking solutions. - Knowledge of LAN and WAN networking protocols. 2. Scripting: - Experience with Python and/or Node.js programming languages. - Ability to develop scripts to automate network tasks. 3. Troubleshooting: - Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze complex network issues. Nice to Have: 1. Experience with network security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, etc.). 2. Knowledge of cloud-based networking solutions. 3. Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
