Senior Legal Counsel

Role & responsibilities

• Drafting & Contracts:

  Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, vendor/service contracts, NDAs, and partnership agreements.

• Litigation Management:

  Handle and coordinate all litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution across India with external counsel.

• Notices & Disputes:

  Draft/review legal notices and responses; manage customer, vendor, and employee dispute matters.

• Compliance & Labour Law:

  Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements applicable to blue-collar workforce across states.

• Risk Management:

  Advise leadership on legal risks and mitigation strategies for business initiatives and expansion into new cities.

• Policy & Governance:

  Draft and update internal company policies (POSH, disciplinary, whistleblower, etc.) and ensure their implementation.

• Stakeholder Support:

  Partner with HR, Operations, and Finance teams to address workforce-related legal issues, disputes, and queries pan-India.

• Corporate Law:

  Support board and shareholder matters, MCA filings, and corporate governance requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Law graduate (LL.B/LL.M) with 8-13 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  
• Strong experience in

  contract drafting, litigation management, and labour law compliance

  .
• Prior experience in

  consumer-tech, e-commerce, logistics, or blue-collar workforce-heavy industries

  preferred.
• Ability to manage external counsel and handle matters independently.
  
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
