• 10+ years in legal advisory, with strong exposure to infrastructure and marine sector contract.

Specialization:

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, vet, and negotiate complex infrastructure contracts for port clients, charter of vessel/dredger, sale/purchase of vessels/dredgers, procurement of engineering services).

• Advise management on contractual rights, risks, and obligations across ongoing and prospective projects. 

• Negotiate with counter-parties for legal clearances, tenders, and contracts. 

• Lead dispute resolution, arbitration, and litigation proceedings in contractual matters.

• Monitor compliance with statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements. 

• Structure and execute contracts for joint ventures, civil engineering, ports, shipping, and dredging verticals. 

• Provide legal input in board meetings, investor communications, and inter-departmental project reviews. 

• Maintain a robust contract management system and legal documentation database.

• Stay updated with amendments in contract law, marine laws, environment laws, and infrastructure regulations.
