Role Description

Job Title: Senior Legal Associate

Location : Chennai

Job Summary: Our law firm is seeking a highly motivated and talented Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for the law. As an Associate, you will be responsible for providing legal research and analysis, drafting legal documents, and assisting with client matters under the supervision of a Partner.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters and firm initiatives.

Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements.

Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties to obtain information, negotiate agreements, and resolve disputes.

Participate in professional development activities to enhance legal knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

BL / LLB.

Admission to the Bar

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a corporate law firm or in-house counsel is preferred.

Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.

Flexibility in supporting client from various timezones
