Senior Java Backend Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Software Developer II (Java Backend Developer) with strong backend fundamentals and hands-on experience in building scalable, cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate should be strong in core Java, backend development, and problem-solving, and should be comfortable explaining code logic and design decisions clearly.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java
• Build and support web-based backend applications
• Write clean, efficient, and optimized code following best practices
• Analyze complex problems and provide optimal technical solutions
• Clearly explain code, logic, and architectural decisions
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment
• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve performance of backend services
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development
• Strong understanding of core Java fundamentals
• Experience with backend web programming and architectures
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to explain coding solutions clearly and logically
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar tools)
• Strong debugging, communication, and collaboration skills

Good to Have

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, New Relic, Grafana
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Kafka, or Storm
• Exposure to cloud-native or microservices-based architectures

Education

• B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
