Job Description

Senior IT Hardware Engineer

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

Installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, desktops, laptops, and network devices.
Proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of hardware, servers, and network performance.
Manage firewalls, switches, storage devices, and backup solutions.
Maintenance and repair of printers, scanners, and peripheral equipment.
Provide Level-2/3 technical support to resolve complex hardware issues.
Ensure IT security compliance and implement best practices for data protection.
Vendor coordination for hardware procurement and AMC support.
Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team.

🔹 Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in IT hardware and infrastructure management.
Hands-on experience with
server maintenance, firewall configuration, and network equipment
.
Strong knowledge of system backup, storage solutions, and endpoint security.
Good communication skills with the ability to handle client interactions.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
