Senior Interior Designer

The candidate will be responsible for complete creative work for residential interior designs. Designer is expected to have experience designing theme based residential projects covering wide range of themes from contemporary to traditional themes. Candidate will be required to meet clients, understand their requirements, preferences & provide design solutions that best meet client requirements. Candidate will be coordinating between sales & production teams to ensure smooth handover from sales to design to production phases.

Roles and Responsibilities

Senior Design Managers have the responsibility of managing interior designers, draftsmen, and managing inter-department coordination.

A Senior Design Manager will be responsible for all aspects related to churning out designs for clients such as but not limited to

1. Attending client meetings, documenting & analyzing client requirement

2. Proposing mood boards & designs concepts to new clients & planning the design at the start of the project

3. Reviewing all the designs before the client meeting & conducting client presentations

4. Managing the design timelines

5. Review of all designs & drawings before sharing the same with clients & design reviews at project site

6. Creating & reviewing the estimate & proposing changes in line with client budget

7. Collaborating with team members

8. Coordinate communication and foster teamwork between project stakeholders

9. Mentoring & training junior team members

10. Establish and prepare project progress such as weekly progress reports

11. Ability to use AI tools to boost productivity & speed up workflows

Soft Skills: Candidate is expected to have Strong design understanding, Problem-solving attitude, ability to managing & resolve conflicts, project & time management. Being attentive to details, listening to critiques, presentation skill. Great Customer handling skill is a must have

Technical skills: Hands on knowledge of 3D & 2D design software’s like 3Ds Max, Google Sketch up, AutoCAD, Photo Shop, MS Office & other support software’s. The candidate is expected to have knowledge of wood working materials like plywood’s, hardware’s, laminates, veneers, etc.

Must have: Ability to use AI tools to boost productivity & speed up workflows
