Job Description

As a Senior in the team, your responsibilities will include: - Manage a portfolio of 3-4 clients. - Responsible for execution and delivery across these clients: - Engagement Onboarding: Understanding the overall scope of the engagement and assisting the Manager with staffing, updating the engagement onboarding checklist, and developing draft templates for Project Management Status, Time Trackers/Lead Sheets. - Execution and Delivery: Assisting with Risk Assessment and Scoping, Walkthroughs and Documentation, Test of Design and Operating Effectiveness of Process Controls, ensuring testing is aligned with the test procedures and control descriptions, attending status calls with clients/KPMG team members, resolving questions/clarifications, project management tracking, and reporting. - Quality: Conducting first-level QA on team members" work, self-checking completed work to ensure high quality as per KPMG standards, and ensuring compliance with KGS Risk Management policy. - Budgets and Timelines: Ensuring established turnaround times and budgets are met, proactively alerting the engagement lead to anticipated deviations. - Scheduling: Keeping work schedules updated to meet utilization criteria. - People: Mentoring 1-2 Associates. - Training: Participating in continuous knowledge enhancement and sharing sessions, collaborating with Assistant Managers/Managers in developing training content, and complying with the firm's CPE requirements. Qualifications: Educational Qualification: - Bachelors degree (BBM / BBA / BCom) from an accredited college/university - Masters degree (MBA/M.com) from an accredited college/university - Qualified CA/ACCA/CPA/CIA Mandatory Skills: - 3 to 5 years of experience performing Internal Audit, internal controls, Operational, Regulatory and Compliance audits in other Big 4 or Consulting organizations. - Strong understanding and knowledge of Accounting and Financial Process, Risk and Controls. - Strong working knowledge of PDF, Visio, MS-Excel and MS-Word. - Good written and spoken communication. - Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. - Managing a team of 2-3 team members. - Experience working with Global clients or Global projects is desirable. - Project Management skills are also desirable.,
