Role Overview

We are seeking a highly disciplined and strategic Senior HR Manager with a background in the Defence sector. The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of leadership, integrity, and operational rigor to drive HR excellence across the organization. This role demands a proactive approach to policy enforcement, talent development, and organizational culture-building, especially in high-compliance or mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR matters

Talent Acquisition & Development

  • Oversee recruitment processes with a focus on discipline, skill, and cultural fit
  • Design and execute training programs that reflect military-grade precision and leadership development
  • Mentor mid-level HR staff and foster a high-performance culture

Policy & Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards
  • Design and enforce SOPs for HR operations, grievance redressal, and disciplinary actions
  • Lead audits and compliance reviews with a zero-tolerance approach to violations

Employee Engagement & Welfare

  • Promote a culture of respect, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Implement welfare programs with structured feedback and impact assessment
  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and psychological safety across teams

Required Skills & Competencies

Preferred Background

  • Retired or former officer from Indian Armed Forces (Army/Navy/Air Force)
  • Minimum 1015 years of experience in HR or personnel management roles
  • Exposure to corporate HR practices, preferably in manufacturing, infrastructure, or energy sectors

Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Certifications in HR, labor law, or organizational development are a plus
