Position: Senior Human Resources (HR) Manager

Salary: Up to ₹40,000 per month (based on experience and performance)

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and hands-on HR Manager to lead the human resources function across our diverse group of businesses, which include an educational institution, a creative design studio, and established retail showrooms. This is not a conventional HR position. It is an opportunity to build systems from the ground up, shape organizational culture, and drive meaningful change in growing businesses that value both human potential and operational discipline.

What You’ll Be Doing

As HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy and employee experience across our companies. Your responsibilities will include:

• Building and implementing core HR systems and policies tailored to different industries (education, retail, creative services)
• Leading end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for diverse roles
• Designing and executing performance review systems, appraisal frameworks, and productivity tools
• Driving employee engagement, cultural development, and retention initiatives
• Managing employee relations and acting as a bridge between leadership and staff
• Coordinating learning and development programs aligned with organizational goals
• Leading HR automation efforts including attendance, payroll, and leave systems (e.g., via Petpooja)

What We’re Looking For

• A Postgraduate Degree in HR or related field (MBA preferred)
• Minimum 8 years of HR experience, with strong preference for retail or textile industry background
• Proven ability to set up or scale HR functions in multi-unit organizations
• Excellent knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance
• A proactive, empathetic, and solution-oriented mindset
