Senior Guest Service Associate

Role & responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, present menus, explain specials, and offer recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Take orders accurately and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely service.
• Serve food and beverages as per restaurant standards and sequence of service.
• Ensure tables are clean, well-set, and reset quickly between guests.
• Address guest queries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and restaurant ambience.
• Coordinate with stewards, captains, and management to ensure seamless service.
• Upsell dishes, combos, and specials to enhance revenue.
• Communicate guest allergies or special dietary requirements clearly to the kitchen.
• Follow food safety, sanitation procedures, and brand service standards.
• Ensure prompt table clearance and efficient service throughout the dining experience.
• Provide exceptional hospitality to maximize guest satisfaction and repeat business.

Preferred candidate profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer-service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanour.
• Prior experience in restaurants, cafs, QSR, or hospitality service roles preferred.
• Freshers with good communication skills and eagerness to learn are also welcome.
• Professional grooming, hygiene, and etiquette are essential.
• Ability to handle busy service hours and multitask effectively.
• Positive attitude, confidence, and proactive approach to guest service.
• Ability to work well in a team and coordinate smoothly with kitchen and service staff.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as per business needs.
