Senior GDS

As a Senior Consultant in Business Consulting in the finance domain at EY-GDS-BlackLine, you will play a crucial role in helping clients develop their Change Management / Performance Improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities will include conducting finance processes assessments, analyzing pain areas, and coming up with effective solutions. You will work on real-time projects related to finance functions and technical solutions like Oracle ARCS, Trintech, BlackLine, and Onestream. Your expertise in Record to report processes, Financial Consolidation and Close, Cost Allocation, and Finance Planning and Budgeting Processes will be essential in driving performance improvements for clients across various industries and countries. Your key responsibilities will include: - Having 5-7 years of consulting experience - Working on real-time projects related to finance functions with knowledge of technical solutions like Oracle ARCS, Trintech, BlackLine, Onestream - Handling finance processes such as account reconciliations, Journals, Transaction matching, Variance analysis, intercompany, etc. - Demonstrating knowledge of ledger and sub-ledger systems like SAP ERP/HANA and Oracle GL - Possessing strong accounting skills and understanding financial reports and statements - Designing Chart of accounts and managing financial close activities for organizations - Translating business requirements into technical language and program them in applications - Managing and supervising teams on project work - Prioritizing and executing tasks effectively in high-pressure situations - Being open to domestic and international travel To qualify for this role, you must have: - MBA OR Masters in business administration in Finance / CA / CFA - Bachelors in technology or engineering - Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills Skills and attributes for success include: - Certification in any financial tools - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Confident & professional communication style - Proficiency in English (oral and written) - Ability to articulate messages clearly to different audiences - Flexibility, adaptability, and the capability to work effectively at all levels in an organization - Influence and leadership skills - Team player mentality and collaborative work approach EY offers you the opportunity to work on inspiring projects and take charge of your personal development.
