Job Description

Fund Accountant


Key Responsibilities
  • Run

    monthly close

    and oversee full-cycle accounting in QuickBooks or similar
  • Record and track

    interest, fee, and equity income

    across structured deals
  • Prepare

    management reports

    and

    investor-ready financial statements

  • Support CPAs on

    tax prep, filings, and fund administration

  • Review financials from 1–5 portfolio companies and flag variances
  • Ensure

    GAAP-compliant reporting

    across multiple industries
  • Standardize reporting templates and assist CFOs/finance leads


Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of direct fund accounting experience

    (private equity, private debt, or fund admin required)
  • Strong knowledge of

    U.S. GAAP

    and

    multi-entity consolidations

  • Background working with companies in the

    $10M–$100M revenue range

  • Ability to manage both

    fund-level and portfolio-level reporting

  • CPA preferred

  • Proficiency with

    QuickBooks

    or other accounting platforms
