Job Description

Preventai is a Swedish company that develops AI solutions that make surveillance cameras useful in real-time for retail stores. We work with Video Language Models (VLM) that enable natural language communication with camera systems for real-time theft detection and incident management. We have secured funding and already work with several of Sweden's largest grocery retailers. We're now seeking a Full Stack Engineer who wants to build technology that shapes the future of retail security. About the Role You will develop AI applications and dashboards that integrate our VLM models with retail systems. The role requires both front-end and back-end development as well as experience with mobile applications and AI integrations. Technical Requirements Front-end: JavaScript, TypeScript, React (Next.js) Tailwind CSS State management with Zustand Back-end: Python Node.js PostgreSQL, SQL, MongoDB, Redis Prisma or Drizzle ORM Additional Requirements: Docker, DevOps fundamentals Data pipelines, ETL processes CI/CD, Git React Native and mobile development (Expo) Experience with LLMs: prompting, function calling, RAG Previously built applications with AI models Who You Are You have a technical background in full stack development and experience with AI integrations. You thrive on solving complex problems and want to work with technology that has direct impact on real challenges in retail.
