Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership Design and implement financial strategies that align with Zockets growth objectives Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and optimize operational efficiency. Drive financial planning and analysis, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting to fuel growth initiatives. Scalable Accounting & Compliance Establish and oversee scalable accounting processes to manage increasing complexity as the company grows. Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including tax laws and SaaS-specific standards (SOC 2, GDPR). Lead financial audits, ensuring transparency and accuracy in reporting. Cash Flow Management Monitor and manage cash flow to support operational needs and growth investments. Develop robust financial models to assess liquidity and risk mitigation strategies. Tax Strategy & Optimization Ensure timely and accurate tax filings across jurisdictions. Identify opportunities for tax optimization, including cross-border SaaS taxation frameworks. Risk Management & Compliance Develop policies to mitigate financial and operational risks as the company scales. Ensure alignment with SaaS compliance standards, including GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO certifications. Team Leadership & Culture Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability and innovation. Cultivate a startup mindset while ensuring excellence in execution. Stakeholder Collaboration Collaborate with department heads to manage budgets and ensure financial discipline. Prepare and present financial performance updates to the executive team, board, and investors. Operational Efficiency Drive automation of financial processes and implement scalable tools like ERP systems, SaaS billing platforms (e.g., Stripe, SaaSOptics), and advanced reporting frameworks. What We re Looking For: Education & Experience Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA in Finance is a plus. 4 - 6 years in a high-growth startup or SaaS environment. 1-2 years prior experience with Big 4 firms is a bonus Technical Skills Expertise in SaaS metrics and subscription-based revenue recognition. Proficiency in ERP and accounting systems QuickBooks & Tally Familiarity with tools like Stripe, Chargebee, Salesforce, and advanced financial modelling in Excel
