We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Associate to support our finance team with core accounting and financial reporting activities. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of UK accounting standards and financial processes, who is keen to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced business environment. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and assist in month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare journal entries, accruals, and prepayments in line with UK GAAP or IFRS. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Assist in preparing management accounts and financial statements. Conduct bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring. Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations including VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax. Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders such as auditors and tax advisors. Help implement and improve financial controls and processes. Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as required.
