Job Description

Position:

About the Role

Packaging Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Packaging Development & Coordination

Assist in developing and executing primary and secondary packaging solutions as per product briefs.
Support in evaluating rigid (bottles, jars, caps) and flexible (tubes, sachets, cartons) packaging formats.
Coordinate with vendors for samples, trials, and approvals.

2. Artwork & Design Management

Work with internal design teams and external agencies to release packaging artworks.
Oversee proofreading, colour shade approvals, and artwork release for production.

3. Quality & Testing Support

Assist in conducting basic compatibility checks and packaging trials.
Ensure packaging meets quality standards and functional requirements during production.

4. Documentation & Process Management

Prepare and maintain packaging-related documents, specifications, and artwork trackers.
Support in creating and updating Key Line Drawings (KLDs) and packaging instructions.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with procurement, manufacturing, R&D, and marketing teams for smooth project execution.
Provide timely updates on project status and artwork/packaging approvals.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

Good understanding of packaging materials and development processes.
Knowledge of artwork release cycle and vendor coordination.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and follow-up skills.
