Take inputs from NPD on proposed packaging type Take inputs from NPD and legal authorities on mandatories Overseeing the inspecting and testing the Packaging at initial production stages, clear handover of acceptable quality norms to QA and Operation dept for further action Inputs to protocol for Validation to be prepared by QA dept of primary and secondary & transport packaging materials like Monocarton, Labels, Laminates, Sleeves, Caps & Plugs, Bottles, AL Seal, shipper carton etc. Take inputs from Sales on feedback on packaging solution and work on improving packaging solutions. Vendor Evaluation based on Vendor audit result & Vendor Development for all the existing and new products in different options at the optimum cost and also for better quality for premium products. Strengthening of existing vendor sources by Vendor training and developing alternate source of suppliers. Costing as per specification of all types of Packaging Materials ( viz. Laminate, CFB, Tray, monocarton Carton, Label, Polybag, Bottle,Cans, Rigid Plastic container, Cap & Plugs etc. ) for negotiation with Vendor, all types of printing jobs lithographic, two/three/multiple tones, 3 color/multicolour prints jobs, estimating various types of paper going into prints, its current duty structure & time to time subsidies, stock or source methodology on paper etc Preferred candidate profile A post graduate Diploma in packaging ( regular course ) from IIP with at least 5 to 6 years of work experience in the field of packaging in a food/agro or FMCG industry. Following attributes are required: • Prior experience in packaging • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications who can also skilfully use SAP applications.

You are a skilled R&D professional in the food industry who will be responsible for developing new food products, improving existing products, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include creating innovative food products across various categories, conducting market research, analyzing consumer insights, and experimenting with new ingredients and flavors. You will also be tasked with improving existing products" taste, texture, and nutritional value. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and refining recipes for new and existing products, ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness. You must guarantee that all products meet food safety and quality standards, collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement HACCP and other quality control measures, and identify and source high-quality ingredients for new product development. Furthermore, you will conduct sensory panels to evaluate product taste, texture, and appearance, gather feedback from sensory panelists, and incorporate it into product development. Your expertise should include developing innovative packaging solutions to enhance product shelf life and maintain quality, as well as a strong understanding of shelf-life testing protocols and regulatory requirements. You must ensure that products comply with food labeling regulations and industry standards, staying up-to-date with changing regulations and industry trends. The requirements for this position include a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field, proven experience in food product development and R&D, strong knowledge of food safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance, excellent sensory evaluation and product testing skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines, and strong communication and collaboration skills. This is a full-time job, and the work location is in person. You should be willing to commute or relocate to Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with an employer-provided relocation package preferred.,
