Senior Executive Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Executive – Engineering (Mechanical) to join our Engineering & Maintenance team. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance and smooth functioning of plant machinery and utilities within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role requires strong technical expertise, a compliance-driven mindset, and proven experience in minimizing downtime while supporting production continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and utility systems.
• Ensure optimal equipment performance and availability with minimal downtime.
• Support installation, commissioning, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and calibration of equipment as per regulatory guidelines.
• Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, checklists, and SOPs in line with cGMP and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, EHS standards, and statutory compliance during all maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality Assurance, and Validation to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for AMC, service support, and procurement.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all maintenance activities in compliance with GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on energy conservation, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
• Provide guidance and training to junior team members and technicians

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance of plant machinery and utilities within a pharmaceutical manufacturing organization.
• Strong knowledge of pharma equipment, utilities, and regulatory compliance requirements (USFDA, MHRA, WHO-GMP, etc.).
• Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and MS Office applications.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
