Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Rate Negotiation with Liners/Feeders: Negotiate competitive freight rates with shipping liners and feeder operators. Analyze pricing structures to optimize cost efficiency and profitability. Maintain strong relationships with carriers to secure the best possible terms. Quotation and Negotiation Management: Prepare, review, and manage freight quotations for customers and partners. Handle rate negotiations with clients, ensuring alignment with market trends. Ensure timely and competitive pricing responses to inquiries and tenders. Carrier Relations & Market Research: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with carriers and shipping lines. Conduct regular market research to track freight rate trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments. Provide insights to improve pricing strategies and optimize shipping routes. Requirements: Proven experience in Dry/OOG (Out of Gauge) container pricing . Strong knowledge of freight rate structures and carrier negotiations. NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) experience is advantageous. Ability to analyze market trends and adapt pricing strategies accordingly. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
