Job Description

Manage full lifecycle of BIS certification for assigned product categories (new applications, renewals, surveillance, and updates).
Coordinate with product teams, R&D, global RA, and suppliers to gather technical documents required for BIS submissions.
Liaise with BIS-recognized labs for product testing, follow-up on test reports, and handle technical queries.
Prepare and submit BIS applications on the portal and track approval status.
Ensure packaging artwork, labels, and product marking comply with BIS requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BIS standards, amendments, notifications, and regulatory changes.
Manage communication with BIS officials, certification agencies, and other regulatory stakeholders.
Maintain accurate documentation, records, and dashboards for all running BIS projects.
Assist in internal and external audits related to BIS compliance.
Support cross-functional teams (QRC, Logistics , Legal, Service ) on BIS-related compliance requirements.
Provide periodic status reports to management and highlight risks or delays proactively.
Ensure timely renewal of licenses and prevent any lapse in certification.
