Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior ERP Project Manager to lead high-stakes ERP initiatives involving Infor SyteLine (CloudSuite Industrial) and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
The ideal candidate is not just a timeline manager but a functional architect capable of bridging the gap between two distinct ERP philosophies. You will be responsible for managing SyteLine implementations/upgrades and, critically, leading the effort to map manufacturing business logic, data structures, and financial workflows from SyteLine into our SAP Public Cloud ecosystem. You will serve as the translator between plant-floor SyteLine users and corporate SAP architects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management & Delivery
Lead end-to-end project lifecycles for ERP initiatives (Migration, Integration, or Two-Tier ERP strategies) adhering to PMI/Agile methodologies, specifically within the SAP Activate framework for Public Cloud.
Manage project budgets, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and steering committee reporting.
Coordinate between third-party vendors (Infor/SAP partners), internal IT teams, and business stakeholders.
2. Business Logic Mapping (SyteLine to SAP)
Functional Translation:Lead workshops to map SyteLine modules to SAP Public Cloud equivalents:
Sales: Map SyteLine Customer Order Entry workflows to SAP Sales.
Logistics: Map SyteLine Materials/Inventory logic to SAP Supply Chain, specifically reconciling SyteLine "Warehouses/Locations" to SAP "Plants/Storage Locations."
Finance: Map SyteLine Job Costing and GL transaction codes to SAP Finance (FICO) cost centers and profit centers.
Manufacturing Gap Analysis: Analyze the difference between SyteLine’s "Job-based" manufacturing logic and SAP’s "Production Order" logic to ensure data integrity during migration or consolidation.
Master Data Governance: Define the strategy for converting Item Masters, BOMs (Bills of Material), and Routings from SyteLine to SAP, adhering to Public Cloud standard best practices.
3. Technical Oversight
Oversee the Data Migration strategy (ETL), ensuring clean extraction from SyteLine SQL tables and validation into SAP.
Manage the definition of interface requirements (APIs/Middleware) for bi-directional data flow using SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) if a Two-Tier ERP strategy is utilized.
Review functional specification documents (FSDs) to ensure business requirements are met within the constraints of the standard Public Cloud content.
4. Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the primary liaison between "Shop Floor" operations (who prefer SyteLine’s agility) and "Top Floor" finance (who require SAP’s compliance).
Develop training plans that explain new SAP Fiori terminology to legacy SyteLine users.
Qualifications
Required Experience
Experience: 8+ years of ERP Project Management experience.
SyteLine Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of Infor SyteLine (v9, v10, or CloudSuite Industrial). Must understand the core table structures (Jobs, Items, CO, PO).
SAP Exposure: Proven experience working in an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment. Must understand the Fit-to-Standard implementation methodology versus traditional Blueprinting.
Project Lifecycle: Completed at least 2 full-cycle ERP implementations or 1 major ERP-to-ERP migration project.
Preferred Skills (The "Nice to Haves")
Experience with Symix (Legacy SyteLine) is a plus for historical data migration.
Technical familiarity with Mongoose (Infor development framework) and SQL Server.
Knowledge of SAP Migration Cockpit (replacing legacy tools like LSMW) and SAP Cloud ALM.
Industry background in Discrete Manufacturing or A&D (Aerospace & Defense).
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Supply Chain.
PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification is required.
SAP S/4HANA Cloud or Infor functional certifications are highly preferred.
