Senior Environmental Architect

Company Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Architect with substantial experience in green building practices and certification processes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using Design Builder software to model, analyze, and optimize energy-efficient designs, ensuring that the project meets sustainability goals and green certification standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of sustainable architecture projects.
• Develop energy-efficient building designs using Design Builder Software for simulation and analysis.
• Prepare and submit documentation required for green building certifications such as LEED, IGBC, ASSOCHAM GEM or other regional equivalents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sustainable systems, materials, and technologies into building designs.
• Ensure compliance with local sustainability codes, environmental regulations, and energy performance requirements.
• Conduct energy modelling and performance analysis to identify areas for improvement in energy efficiency.
• Assist in educating and mentoring junior staff in green building standards and software tools.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in sustainable design, green building certifications, and energy modelling technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Proven experience in green building design and certification (LEED, IGBC, ASSOCHAM GEM, GRIHA, WELL etc.).
• Strong proficiency in Design Builder Software, IESve, Energy Plus for energy modelling, simulation, and optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building standards.
• Experience in energy modelling, daylighting analysis, and environmental performance analysis.
• Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to solve complex design challenges.
