Nielsen Sports is looking for Senior Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey

The Senior Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software products or technical solutions
This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment
The Senior Engineering Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and stakeholders, to ensure successful project execution and delivery
Leadership and Team Management:Provide strong leadership to a team of engineers, including hiring, mentoring, coaching, and performance management
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting innovation, knowledge sharing, and professional development
Set clear expectations, establish goals, and monitor progress to ensure the team's success
Technical Expertise:Maintain a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the projects/products within the team's scope
Guide the team in making sound technical decisions and provide technical expertise when needed
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement
Project Management:Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and timelines
Allocate resources effectively, balancing workload and priorities to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products or solutions
Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and communicate project status and updates to stakeholders
Process Improvement:Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance team productivity, quality, and efficiency
Champion agile development practices and drive their adoption within the team
Identify and implement process automation and optimization opportunities to streamline workflows
Collaboration and Communication:Foster strong cross-functional collaboration between engineering and other teams, such as product management, design, and quality assurance
Effectively communicate technical concepts, project updates, and team performance to stakeholders at all levels
Act as a point of contact for escalations, problem-solving, and conflict resolution within the team and with external parties
