Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Perform manual and automated testing of Flashing Over The Air (OTA) update processes.
Perform end-to-end OTA testing on both test benches and vehicles (download, installation, rollback, update verification).
Validate OTA cloud UI / HMI functionality.
Perform ECU flashing and reprogramming on both test benches and in vehicles using diagnostic protocols such as UDS over CAN.
Troubleshoot and debug vehicle communication issues and failed flashing routines with the Logs , across cloud & embedded ECUs

Proficiency in Automotive Cockpit and TCU systems Flashing & Debugging , Android Device Flashing , VIP Flashing , ADB Log Analysis

Develop, execute, and automate test cases based on system and customer requirements
Utilize diagnostic and calibration tools like Vector CANoe, CANape, or similar software to monitor, log, and analyze CAN communication and diagnostic requests/responses.
Understanding of vehicle communication protocols and TCU protocols (CAN, Ethernet, UDS, DoIP, MQTT, REST).
Specifically focusing on diagnostic services, Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), and event memory management.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers and calibration engineers, to perform root-cause analysis and resolve identified issues.
Automate test sequences flashing and diagnostics, potentially using scripting languages like Python.

Qualifications

BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech - Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive Electronics or Equivalent

General Requirements

Scripting languages like Python or CAPL for test automation.
Familiar with Linux commands.
Familiarity with OBD-II standards and regulations.
Experience with test methodologies, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
Knowledge of automotive communication protocols, including CAN and UDS
Familiar with defect management tools like JIRA.
