Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Engineer (QS) located in Guwahati. The Senior Engineer (QS) will be responsible for managing all costs related to building and civil engineering projects from the initial calculations to the final figures. Day-to-day tasks include preparing cost estimates, managing budgets, conducting site inspections, and liaising with contractors and clients to ensure project adherence to financial goals and requirements. The role also involves risk management, cost control, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Quantity Surveying, cost estimation, and budget management
• Experience in project management, site inspections, and supervisory duties
• Proficiency in risk management and cost control techniques
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying and project management
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry
• Professional certification in Quantity Surveying or Project Management is a plus
