Senior Engineer-Proposal /Presales/Inside Sales

Dear Candidates, We are looking for the young and dynamic professional for our UK based Valve Company located in Bhosari Pune. Roles & Responsibilities: Review client inquiries, technical specifications, and RFQs for valve product and services. Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, including cost estimation and lead time. Collaborate with the sales, production, and design teams to ensure accurate and competitive proposals. Conduct feasibility analysis to meet customer specifications and suggest alternative solutions when required. Ensure proposals comply with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements. Manage proposal revisions and clarifications during the bid process. Maintain a comprehensive database of costing, past projects, and product configurations. Provide technical support to the sales team during pre-sales and contract negotiations. Track proposal status and maintain effective communication with stakeholders. Preferred Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 6-8 years of experience in proposal engineering for valve manufacturing or related industries. Strong understanding of different types of industrial valves and applications. Proficiency in reading technical drawings, specifications, and standards (e.g., API, ASME). Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
