Job Description

HYDRO PROKAV PUMPS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is looking for Senior Engineer, Operational Procurement to join our team

Manage the procurement/purchasing of metal fabrication materials in line with production and customer requirements.
Ensure on-time delivery and maintain item cost as per agreements, exploring new avenues for cost reduction.
Review and validate technical drawings, specifications, and tolerances for metal fab items.
Meet inventory targets and optimize stock levels through Kanban.
Order/schedule and expedite material according to production plans.
Develop programs with vendors to manage cash flow, improve speed, and ensure accurate deliveries.
Maintain optimum stock levels and manage complete supply chain operations.
Manage vendor relationships and supplier management, including performance management and ISO audits.
Upgrade supplier performance and manage the P2P cycle for the respective profile.

Job Requirements

Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal processes, welding, and machining.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and ERP/SAP.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multicultural environment.
Result-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
