Senior Engineer - Mechanical

As an Aerospace Product Design Engineer at our company, your primary focus will be to manage customer requirements, concept design/selection, detail design, analysis, and design validation for product testing and qualification. You will need to execute engineering work in compliance with aerospace engineering practices. Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating working knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic design principles - Creating 3D models and drawings of new product designs and modifying existing product drawings and models - Proficiency in using ProE-Creo 7.0, CATIA V5 for preparing CAD models, detailed designs/drawings, and Bluebeam for drafting drawings - Performing GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and engineering calculations supporting design integrity - Conducting 3D CAD modeling and drafting according to ASME Y14.100 and GD&T per ANSI Y14.5M-1982 or newer standards - Utilizing DFSS concepts/tools such as PDSC, P-Diagram, DFMEA, Risk Management & DVPR for new product development and improvements - Applying understanding of manufacturing processes to enhance designs and act as a technical resource for internal/external customers - Ensuring designs meet Eaton and customer standards/requirements with experience in Aerospace Products & Standards - Possessing Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) GB certification for internal candidates - Handling Design for Manufacturing, DFMEA & DVPR with exposure to PLM systems like ENOVIA/Windchill - Utilizing digital tools such as Python Programming, Advanced Excel, PowerBI, VB, and similar equivalents for driving digitalization strategies and technical/functional productivity - Developing productive working relationships with functions and organizations outside of Engineering - Maintaining credible communication practices with stakeholders for technical clarifications, testing, and resolving field failures - Communicating effectively both verbally and in written form with customers, team members, and cross-functional departments - Actively participating in continuous learning to enhance organizational objectives Qualifications: - Education level required: B.E/B.Tech or ME/M.tech in Mechanical/Aerospace and related engineering areas - Years and area of experience required: Master's degree - 4-6 years or Bachelor's degree - 6 to 8 years of experience in product design & development in the Aerospace industry - Technical knowledge required: NPI/NPD, DfX tools, Pneumatic design, 3D modeling and drawings, GD&T, Tolerance stackup, Engineering design calculations, Risk analysis & assessment (DFMEA) Skills: - Soft skills: Drive for Results, Passionate, Collaborative, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Analysis-First & Digital Mindset,
